Winchester Optical has been helping people better their vision in Winchester and throughout Massachusetts since 1958.

Peg and Art Deering founded the practice with a single goal, to help and guide people to their optimal vision. Current owner, John Deering, son of Peg and Art, holds true to the original goal today.

As a family owned and operated business, John Deering, on-site Optician, and son Joseph Deering, Optometrist, have dedicated their lives to ensuring Winchester Optical’s patients receive expert professional eyecare in a personal, one-on-one environment.

Dr. Joseph Deering, a graduate of New England College of Optometry, offers primary care services to patients, with a special interest in pediatric optometry. Dr. Deering is dedicated to making sure each patient discovers clearer vision and the healthiest eyes possible.

Dr. Deering and his staff offer a wide variety of professional eyecare services, as well as a large selection of quality eyewear and contact lens options.
